Q1: How to show formatted text in Timeline Story?
Ans: To display formatted text, inside your Timeline Story, you need to adjust the Story Description setting. If you are using the Shortcode Generator Block, simply select “Full Text” under the Story Description option. This allows the timeline to show complete, properly formatted content instead of a trimmed version.
If you are working with the Classic Editor, you can update the shortcode manually. Open your existing timeline shortcode and replace story-content=”short” with story-content=”full”. Once this change is applied, the timeline will display your entire formatted content exactly as you styled it.
Q2: How to make Timeline story titles non-clickable?
Ans: To make a Timeline story non-clickable, you simply need to disable the link on the story title. You can do this directly from the shortcode settings. Open your Story Timeline Shortcode, go to the Advanced tab, and set Display Read More to Hide.
Q3: Why are Color Settings not working?
Ans: Color settings will work on “Light” & “Dark” skin timelines. Change the skin and try applying the color settings again.
Q4: Can I customize colors, fonts, and icons?
Ans: Yes, Cool Timeline includes a Settings panel where you can control colors, font styles, background, icons, and line styles to match your website design.
