Cool Timeline integrates smoothly with popular page builders like Elementor, Divi, or WPBakery Page Builder to make timeline creation simple. You can easily design timelines right inside your editor by simply pasting the Cool Timeline Shortcode.
Default Cool Timeline Shortcode:
[cool-timeline layout="default" designs="design-1" skin="default" category="amazon-history" show-posts="4" order="ASC" icons="icon" animations="fade-up" date-format="F d" story-content="full"
timeline-title="" line-filling="true" ]When you paste this shortcode inside a page builder, it automatically loads your timeline layout with stories, icons, and dates.
Compatibility with Page Builders
The Cool Timeline plugin works with all major page builders:
- Elementor: If you’re using Cool Timeline (Free or Pro), you can simply paste the timeline shortcode inside Elementor. However, we also have a dedicated
Timeline Widget for Elementor Proplugin. This addon provides an advanced timeline widget that works directly inside the Elementor editor, allowing you to design timelines without using shortcodes. - Divi Builder: If you’re using Cool Timeline (Free or Pro), you can simply paste the timeline shortcode inside Divi. After saving the page, your timeline will automatically appear on the frontend. However, you can use our
Timeline Module for Divi Pro. This plugin works directly inside the Divi Builder, so you can adjust your timeline layout, icons, and colors in real time without switching between editor and preview. - WPBakery Page Builder: WPBakery provides built-in support for our timeline plugin. In addition to using the shortcode method, you’ll find dedicated timeline elements inside the WPBakery editor. These elements let you create and edit timelines directly from the backend visual interface without manually adding shortcodes.
